Fall 2026 – Spring 2027 New Pool Project

The 2026 pool season will be the last season of the current concrete pool at Trotter Chase.

This pool will be swimmable as is beginning Memorial Day Weekend and will close Labor Day Weekend.

Demolition is planned to begin in September 2026, with work to be completed by McIntire Pools & Landscape.

A new Thursday Pools Aspen fiberglass pool will then be installed. The pool will measure 16′ x 40′, with a depth ranging from 3’4″ in the shallow end to 5’10” in the deep end.

Features of the Aspen design include a 12-inch-deep tanning ledge, non-skid surface, extended bench seating, dual swim-outs, a courtesy ledge around the deep end, a wide-open swim lane, and auto-cover compatibility.

In addition to the new pool, all new equipment will be installed, including a Hayward pump, Hayward salt cell, sand filter, chlorinator, three MicroBrite color-changing lights, pool heater, updated concrete surfaces, an automation system for the pool cover (to help reduce maintenance costs), and an Integra automatic pool cover.

Additional updates will be shared as the project progresses.

Capital Improvement Project Update

This year’s capital improvement project focused on a complete window replacement and the installation of new exterior doors for the women’s, men’s, and mechanical rooms. For years, our facility had fogged, water-damaged windows with numerous visual flaws—this upgrade was long overdue.

We partnered with Builders Lumber, a trusted local contractor, to complete the work.

Budget Overview – the project was budgeted at $20,500.00, and we’re pleased to report it came in under budget by $203.12. Here’s the cost breakdown:

Item Cost
Doors (3 total) $3,836.68
Windows (11), caulking, supplies $9,429.80
Labor for windows and doors $6,970.40
Total $20,236.88

We’re thrilled with the results and grateful for the improved aesthetics and functionality these upgrades bring to our space.

Expected Pool Closing for Clubhouse Work

Please keep an eye out for an email blast in the coming days. Window and door replacement will begin within the week at the Clubhouse. We will need to shut the pool down during the east-end phase. We will be given a days notice from the contractor, and will notify eveyone as quickly as possible of the exact date. Thank you.

State Road 9 and Bassett Road Entrances

As part of our ongoing summer improvement projects, we’re excited to share that the street lights at the State Road 9 and Bassett Road entrances will soon have a fresh new look.

We’ll be transitioning from the current green fixtures to a sleek, timeless black finish — complementing our street signs and enhancing the overall aesthetic of our community.

Painting will begin on Thursday, July 3rd.

Thank you for your continued support as we work to improve and beautify our neighborhood.

2025 Pool Season

The 2025 pool season will kick off on Saturday, May 24.

We’re excited to share some upgrades to the pool deck area! The HOA has purchased three new 9-foot midnight blue umbrellas. These heavy-duty aluminum umbrellas feature a zinc-alloy crank lift, an auto-tilt system, and a breathable, fade-resistant Terylast fabric.

The new umbrellas will be set up as soon as they arrive.
